I glance sideways at her, and I want to poke at her mind and the thoughts that reside inside. I want to know the meaning of all of this but something about her closed demeanour stops me from voicing my thoughts. I get the feeling that she needs my silent support and for me to not interfere too much so I guess that’s all I’m going to do. I have already promised her and it is way too early to break my promises to her.
