All my life I have learnt to keep my emotions in check. To understand them and to balance them resourcefully. With my mate, however, staring at her in that broken and painful situation crushed my heart. it took everything in me not to tear her father apart.

“Son.’’ the voice of my father resonates over the room as he enters. There is a curious expression plastered on his face as he moves towards me and embraces me.
