Five years later.
“I heard you might get lecturer of the year with the pace you’re heading.” Daniel Spear spoke, falling in line with me as I made my way from the lecture hall and towards my office, which was on the left side of the staff room.
I rolled my eyes, but my cheeks heated at his bold proclamation. “I’m just doing my job, Mr Spears,” I answered.
