The next morning I waited for my son to come home. The second the doorbell rang, I ran to get the door but instead of Elijah, Annette stood in front of me.

"Morning, mom Sofia." Annette gave me a hug.

"Morning beautiful. Where is Eli, he didn't come home last night." I said.

"Mom, he gave me this to give it to you and Uncle Benjamin. I came home alone, last night. He left after an hour or so. I promise, he didn't tell me anything." She explained giving me an envelope. "I have to go now. Mommy, will be worried. Bye." She gave me a kiss...
