#Chapter4

Sofia's POV.

-Flashback-

"Hurry up Sofia. Don't you be fucking late again." Benjamin called me again and cut the phone before I could say anything.

Shit! He will kill me if I don't get there now. What kind of a wife I'm I? I have been married to him for seven months now.

There's a taxi I'll just have to run before other people get in. I'll make it before Benjamin's meeting is over.

As I was crossing, I didn't notice the car coming from the other side. I always doubled checked before crossing the road. But today, I was in a hurry trying my best not to make Benjamin angry again.

Everything happened so fast and the next thing I'm lying on the ground.

"OMG"

"What the hell did you do man."

"Someone call an ambulance."

"She's going to be fine it's nothing major."

"It's just a little bump just image if it was worse."

"Check her emergency number."

"The ambulance is on the way."

Everything went blank for me but those were the words I heard. Man, women, everyone gathered around me. And the next thing I know is I am in the hospital.

"Don't worry ma'am you going to be alright. It's nothing. It could've been worst if the guy didn't stop the car."

"What?" That was the only word I could say the only thing I could say. Because I was so shocked. I need to go to Benjamin's meeting before he kills me.

"We just want to do a check-up. Your husband is on the way." The doctor replied.

My husband, he said as if he will give a fuck about me. But I just managed to say "Okay." And just like that someone opened the door.

"Is my wife okay?" My heart skipped a beat.

Wow, he cares about me after all. I can't believe it. Seven months and this is the first time he actually cared about me. I have known him for about ten months. And married to him for seven months and this is the first time he actually cares about me.

"She's alright sir don't worry." The doctor told Benjamin.

"Oh, my darling wife. How are you feeling? I was worried sick. I thought you were going to leave me. You are my everything." Benjamin said taking a seat and holding my hand. Rubbing it and kissing it the whole time.

"I'm alright Benji. No need to cry." I replied wiping his tears.

"I'll give you some privacy." The doctor left the room.

"The fuck were you thinking. Getting bumped by a car today of all the days." Benjamin started pinching my hand.

"What's wrong with you ?" I asked, so angry at him.

"How old are you, twenty or fucking two how the hell did you get bumped?" He asked glaring at me.

"Why can't you be nice and loving like you were just now?" I questioned him and he laughed.

"I .." Before he finished talking the doctor came in. And Benjamin got up and left.

"I got some news for you, ma'am?" The doctor said smiling at me.

"I can leave now?" I asked not being excited because I know I'll be sleeping on the floor as punishment again.

"That and you are pregnant congratulations." What the fuck did he just say? I'm fucking pregnant with the devil's child. Oh god, I'm dead.

"Thank you but can you not tell my um husband. I'd like to surprise him." I was pleading. I can't let Benjamin find out until I know for sure that he wants a child. This deal didn't include a baby, but things change, right?

End of flashback

So today is the day I finally meet Benjamin again. I won't be telling him about Elijah but I'll still talk to him for the sake of all those people, I don't want anyone to be fired because of me.

"Elijah come take your bath, my baby." I kept calling Elijah the whole day. it's Wednesday and I know he loves sleeping today. Just like Benjamin. I don't know what's with Wednesday and Carson men. Last time I remember his stepsister Charlotte didn't like Wednesdays. We both love Sundays and Thursdays.

"Get up Eli, or I'll tell everyone at school that your other name is.."

"I'm up and ready mommy." Elijah said while getting up and going to the bathroom.

I always blackmail him when he doesn't want to listen to me I don't get why he doesn't like his second name. He reminds me of Benjamin when I used to do that to him. I even sometimes used to say, Benni or Benji. He hated it just like I hated Fia and Sofi. When he called me Mia it was alright.

"Mommy, next week is Father's Day meeting." Elijah told me as I was dressing him up.

"I'll be there my boy." I replied knowing he wants his dad to be there.

"But you not a dad, mommy."

"Uncle Marko will be there then, happy." I replied looking at the time. Shit, I have thirty minutes before everyone is fired if I'm not there now.

"But mommy he isn't my daddy. It's not uncles day it's Father's Day." He said looking at me so innocent. Why did he have to be like him? I can't say no to Carson's can I?

"I'm late let's just go Elijah."

I arrived at Benjamin's company and my heart started racing. Three years and six months and today I came to meet him. I just hope I'm ready.

"Sofia fucking Valentines" Someone called me while I was busy talking to Felicity. And knowing that voice so well. It was Benjamin. Same as always. He always comes late on a Wednesday.

"Benjamin Carson. I heard you wanted to fire everyone because you are so desperate for me. Are your girlfriends not doing it for you huh?" I said turning around and looking at him.
