Annette's POV.

Our English teacher, Ms Venus has been calling us one by one to do our oral and I kept praying the bell to ring.

"Annette Hendricks." Ms Venus said and my heart almost jumped out of my chest. I quickly checked the time and it was half-past nine. The bell only rings at ten. "If I call you again, I'll give you a zero Annette."

"I'm coming ma'am." I said taking out a random page because I didn't prepare anything at all. I just hope she doesn't ask me to show her my notes.
