“Thanks babe.” Eric says gratefully, pulling his jacket on over his black turtleneck sweater and grabbing his car keys off the hook by the entrance. He gets into the driver’s seat and closes the car door, starting the engine. Alex slips into the passenger seat and buckles her seat belt. Eric pulls away from the curb, making his way out of the parking lot. They drive back to Alex’s place in comfortable silence. Once they arrive, Eric parks in the driveway, cutting the engine.
