“Alex?” Sara calls worriedly.

Alex raises her head quickly, trying her hardest to hide her emotions. “Yea.” She forces out.

“Are you okay?” Sara asks, concern evident in her voice.

Alex shakes her head frantically. She takes a shaky breath. “Yeah, I’m fine. I just...” She pauses trying to compose herself. “I need to go.” She says quickly. Without giving Sara a chance to question her anymore, she stands up abruptly and walks away, heading straight outside.
