I am shuddering uncontrollably. It feels like my head is about to explode.

I have never been this scared in my life!

The wolf held me down, staring down at me. The both of them are. I can't believe I am right under the mercy of two wolves.

God what are they going to do to me? Eat me? Tear me apart? Drink my entire blood?

Werewolves.

Wait, can they also change to humans too? They should because the doctor said this is a place for werewolves. So they are werewolves right?

The one holding me down snarled angrily at me.

My heart sunk the more.

I think this is it for me. I am going to die. They will surely kill me. They will....

"Aunt no!"

I heard a familiar voice approach.

Luca.

Did he just say aunt?

Next the wolf moved away from me.

I moved back, frightened to the least.

Luca ran in front of me, facing the wolves.

"Aunt don't harm her" he said.

Why is he calling it aunt?

The next thing that happened marveled me.

The two wolves transformed into beautiful women. One looks older than the other. The older one must be the one Luca is referring to as aunt.

The two women are on black trousers but topless. Their look brunette and blonde hair are long and covering their breasts.

I can't believe my eyes.

This is amazing.

"Who is she?" The older one with brunette hair asked.

Luca looked at me.

"Babe who is she?" The second asked.

Babe?

Luca moved toward me. He offered me his hand and I nervously placed my hand on it. He drew my hand, helping me up on my weak feet. He bring me closer to the women.

I couldn't look at them. The older one doesn't look nice.

"Luca who is she? She is a human" the older one said.

Her voice is unfriendly.

"Yes she is" Luca said.

"Why is she here? Does your father know about this?" She asked.

"Not only does he knows about her being human but also the fact that she is his new mate"

"What?" She blurted, surprised.

I almost jumped.

"New mate?" The second human asked. Surprised too.

"Yes babe. Can you believe it? Dad has a new mate and she is a human " Luca said.

The second woman let out a chuckle of disbelief.

"This is so unbelievable " she said.

"Very. But it is what it is" Luca said.

"How did your dad take this?" The older one asked. She sounds unhappy.

Luca shrugged. "Not well. He rejected her though."

I felt my heart ache hearing that. I don't know why.

"But we all know it's the moon goddess decision. We can't do anything to change it." Luca said.

The older one scoffed making me look at her.

She gives me a soar look, scaring me.

I look down instantly.

Next she walks away angrily.

"Aunt where are you...."

"It's late. You all should retire" I heard her say as she walked away.

"What's up with aunt?" Luca asked the second woman.

She shrugged. "I don't know. She was in a good mood during our usual night run."

Luca scoffed. "Night run" he muttered.

"Hi I am Clara" she said extending her hand to me.

I look between her and her hand. I look at Luca.

"Go on." He said.

I placed my hand on hers. She shook my hand.

"She is my mate" Luca said leaning towards Clara and kiss her lips.

Clara blushed.

I couldn't help but stare at them.

"Beautiful isn't she?" Luca asked.

Clara chuckled, hitting Luca's chest playfully.

"Gimme another kiss will ya?" Luca asked, leaning towards her again.

Clara moved away from her a bit "Quit fooling around babe." She said focusing on me. 

"What is your name?" She asked.

"Va...Valeria"

"Aww such a nice name"

"Indeed." Luca said.

I managed to smile.

"But why were you running at this time?" She asked.

I recalled what happened back at the mansion. The way Luca's father yelled at me. He looked at me with so much hate. His handsome face became scary.

"What happened?" Clara asked, making me look at her and Luca.

They are both looking at me with worry on their faces.

"He....he told me to leave" I said looking down.

"Who told you to..."

"My dad" Luca cuts in.

Clara sighed.

"I think he..he hates me" I said, feeling my heart ache the more.

"Well he has to recover from that hatred because you are his new mate now. His responsibility." Luca said

"That right" Clara supported.

"Whether he likes it or not" Luca said. " But you will have to stay at Clara's for the mean time"

I look at Clara.

"Yes." She supported "The Alpha is still grieving over his lost mate. Though it has been two years, he still healing. But since you are here, he will just have to let go and move on."

I look down.

"But you will be staying with me. I have a spare bedroom" she said smiling.

Her smile is contagious. It makes me feel welcomed.

I smiled a little. "Th...thanks"

She shrugged. "No big deal"

"Tomorrow we will show you around" Luca said.

"Yes tomorrow" Clara said as she takes my hand. "Come on let's go"

We head back.

Both of them talk to themselves as we walked back. They are a very beautiful couple.

Luca is very handsome and Clara is extremely beautiful. They really suit each other.

I thought I had a crush on him but then, his father came into the picture.

I was so smitten by him. I even felt a tingle in between my legs. I can't tell what that means.

My heart fluttered at the sight of him.

But the way he looked at me made me feel very terrible. With so much hate.

Don't forget the way he yelled at me. I saw my stepmother and Brothers in his eyes. I couldn't stay there. I had to run away.

Luca said we are mates. That I am his to love and protect. His responsibility. But he is doing the complete opposite.

What am I even saying?

I still don't understand this werewolf thingy. The mate and moon goddess is a mystery to me.

I need to understand.

But Luca and his uh mate are nice. That's enough. At least I won't be going back to my mean stepmother and heartless brothers.

I don't ever want to go back.

Two nice people are enough.

I am happy they found me.

Very happy.
