We took a taxi and headed to Mr Fletchers house where we would get the manuscript.

His butler, an old man with gray hair came out to open the door when we rang the doorbell.

"Good morning Miss Valerie, Mr Fletcher is up in his study." The butler greeted.

It didn't seem like it was Valerie's first time there from how familarly she weaved through the doors.

I went with her, following closely behind her so I would not lose my way in the huge house.

We got to a door and Valerie waited in front of it and knocked steadily on the door.
