ANNE’S POV

My head was banging. There was ringing in my ears. I felt like the whole world weighed on my body causing me to groan internally.

What the fuck happened to me?

I was conscious, but I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. My fingers clutched onto the edge of the sheets tightly.

Gathering up all the strength I had within me, I forcefully tore my eyes apart. The brightness of the room hitting me with full force causing me to shut them as quickly as I could.

The act sending another sharp pain to my brain.
