The forest trees blurred past us as Nicole and I ran for our dear lives. The sounds of growls and snarls echoed behind us. My heart pounded heavily in my chest, and dread enveloped me tightly as I stole a glance over my shoulder, catching sight of Uncle Ben and his pack tearing into the Alpha brothers ruthlessly.
