Vincent groaned in pain as a sharp object pierced through the skin of his feet. His eyes shutting close and he fell between the high grassland. He let himself fall to the ground and laid over the wet dirt staring up above. He had long passed the kingdom's walls by pushing himself and walking through the fields of rice. He could see how long that dark soil passed.

Those black woods were never-ending.

He pulled himself up and stared back for the very first time to see the Kingdom of his beloved King far, far away. A thick mist covered the lands near the hills he passed by yesterday....
