The incessant ringing of my alarm jerked me up from sleep the next morning.

A quick glance at the wall clock revealed it was exactly 7am.

“Thank goodness,” I murmured , relieved that I hadn't slept through my alarm.

On arriving at the apartment yesterday, I simply took a shower and went straight to bed, didn't even unpack , explore or anything, just went straight to sleep.. was tired to my bones.
