LUMINA

The shout echoed in the small room. We both immediately looked at the door, listening for sounds of anyone approaching or questioning what they'd just heard.

Silence.

Lyn crept to the door, opened it a crack, and peered out into the hallway. Apparently satisfied that no one had overheard, he closed and locked it again before turning back to me.
