" Nah, I know you well. You're brilliant and you have the qualities I need. You don't have to worry, you can resume work tomorrow " He said, cutting her off.

" Oh, okay then " Layla muttered.

There was a brief silence before Layla broke it. " I should end the call now. I have to prepare for tomorrow " Layla said awkwardly and Shane nodded tho she couldn't see him.

" Ok then, thanks. Bye " He said and Layla muttered a * bye * before hanging up.
