Shane snapped out of his thoughts and looked away from her lips.

" What'd you think went wrong?, I don't think her parents are aware that she wasn't planning on attending the wedding " Layla asked worriedly.

Shane held her hands,, " You shouldn't worry about that, leave that to me, I'll handle it " Shane assured. She nodded slowly and her eyes landed on Mirah who was chatting with Brielle's friends.

" When are we leaving? " She asked, turning to Shane.

" We should leave now " He said, glancing at his gold wristwatch, and with that led the way. He getured to Claus who whistled...
