Ryker began developing feelings for Adeline during her training at the academy.

Even though everyone else in the Pack hated her, he has that one feeling that seemed to grow each passing day and he just couldn't control the urge to see her every moment.

During the years when she left, his mind had always been with her and her disappearance from his life, left a deep void.

Yet, he couldn't express his feelings to her as he felt it would seem improper.

He was her teacher and she was just his student, she respected and maintained the formal relationship between them, but Ryker wanted something more.
