"What are you doing here?" I asked, seeing my mom….wait, was she my mom? She's no more my mom since I've found out that I'm not her biological daughter.

Fiona swallowed some spit before clearing her throat. "I came to take you home. I do not have to wait for you to divorce that blind man anymore, do I?"

My brows scrunched up as I placed my hands on my waist. "You're joking, aren't you?"
