Aiden's POV

"Aiden! Aiden!" Adeline kept screaming after me as I walked angrily into the room.

I turned around, grabbing her roughly by the arm. "What the hell do you want?!" I yelled.

Right now, I do not care about my feelings for her. I just want to act according to what my father wants — be the Alpha of the Moon Crest Pack and take over my father's business.

It's high time I stopped being a fool and do the needful. My eye surgery is next week and after that, everything I've lost would be mine again.

Now that I'm almost at the peak, I can't forfeit it all...
