"Something's obviously troubling him," Claire whispered to herself.

She watched Jake for a while longer before deciding to follow him. She quietly tip toed down the stairs and walked into the living room, only to find that he had taken off his shoes and jacket. She cautiously walked towards him as he remained seated on the floor, staring at nothing in particular.

"Jake?" she tentatively called out.

His head shot up in surprise and he stared at her, "Oh Claire, hey. Sorry. Didn't notice you were there. How are you feeling?"

She walked towards him, stopping in front of him, "Better now. Why are you still sitting on the floor?"...
