"I wanted to apologize for yesterday." He stated.

"Apologize?" I blinked.

"Yes. I shouldn't have left like that. I know that you were upset and I just wanted to make sure that you're okay. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings and made you feel that way." He apologized.

"Don't worry about it." I waved him off. "I understand. You were just being protective and you couldn't bear to see me sad."

"That's right." He nodded.

I wrapped my arm around his shoulder and rested my head against his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and held onto me tightly. We stayed like that for a while and just stared...
