They were quiet for a bit, just enjoying each other's company. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep in his warm embrace.

The next morning she woke up feeling better. She took her vitamins and then showered quickly. Once she was dry and clothed she walked into the kitchen where her mother was sitting at the table reading something on her phone.
