Freya’s POV

I was back home in the pack house. Just as I walked in, Artemis followed right behind me. His steps were quick, and they came to an abrupt halt when he saw me.

“Freya,” he called, and I moved toward him.

He pulled me into his arms, and I blushed. My hands came up around his broad back, holding him tight.

“You’ve missed me,” he said, his tone leaving no room for denial.

What a cocky wolf. Like he hadn’t missed me too.

I tilted my face up and peered at him through my lashes. “Well, I did. And I’m not afraid to admit it—unlike some people.”
