FLASHBACKS:  OVER A YEAR AGO

It was the late hours of the evening. The air was cool and I was taking a stroll leisurely around the pack, just enjoying the cool night's breeze.

Suddenly, I heard running footsteps approaching the gate, which was a few distance away from where I was standing. 

I caught sight of a shivering figure, running towards the gate. “Please, help me.” Even her voice shook.

It was some strange woman. She was addressing some of my men who were standing by the gate, behind her, rogues followed but my men easily fought them off and they fled.
