Alpha Matthias knelt beside me and took my foot from my sandals and onto his hand to examine the injury. 

“Sorry Issa, this must hurt, come.”

He led me by the hand towards a bench and helped me sit on it. “I will go buy some medicine to apply on it.” And with that, he disappeared.

I stared at my bruised foot, although it was hurting a lot, the injury didn't seem to be serious. Alpha Matthias was being paranoid but I also found his paranoia sweet.

He returned not long after with some medicine and as he applied it on the foot, I couldn't help but gaze affectionately...
