The air was stiff while taking a walk with Xylah, this was because none of us wanted to be in the same company as each other.

As we walked, I heard noises and cheers going on in the distance. "What's that noise?" I asked.

"They are recruiting new wolves to join the army," she replied. "You do not want to go there, the men there will be covered in their own sweat and blood," she complains.

"Yuck right?" She asked but stopped talking when she noticed my interest. "Oh I forgot, you used to be a beta, those are your thing," she mumbles.
