“What?” Sophia frowned, her confusion obvious.

“I love it, Sophia,” Adrian clarified, his gaze drifting back to Lopez before returning to Sophia. “You did a great job.”

Sophia let out a long sigh. “You really know how to stop someone's heart. Well, I'm glad you like it.” She turned to Lopez. “It was really a pleasure meeting such a beautiful soul. At least God didn't punish every woman for Adrian's past before he finally decided to get married.”
