I felt disappointed and shunned the way he spoke to me. On one hand, I understood that something's better kept a secret than being revealed.
I knew Silas was hiding something but I didn't see it as any business of mine anymore. After all, it was his life and not mine.
I was the one being too inquisitive and I wanted answers I couldn't get, not that i had any entitlement to it.
I decided to ignore it and acted like it was fine. It wasn't like I meant anything to him even if I thought so. We just met so obviously I was asking for too much....
