"What do you mean chief come on please get someone else!" I plead with my boss on the phone this isn't happening.

"Well fuck you too Riley! thank you for nothing" I'm not proud of swearing at my own boss, but this is bad really bad.

Three of our officers are down, responding to a domestic violence case, the crazy dom shot them, nothing serious but they are out of duty for at least a month. That means they want me to go back to work soon, I had some time off since I adopted Toby, but now they wanted me back.
