“Hi, good morning,” Quincy said as he stepped into the room. I was on my way to the bathroom, but he had a cheery expression and a swing in his step that made me stop and look at him suspiciously.
I internally chuckled at the fact that he would never have guessed that just a few minutes ago, I thought he had picked up his things and left without me.
