I stared silently at Mrs. Collins and Dominic and discussed how they would go into the basement, my presence was forgotten, my mind replaying what the demon had said about Dominic.

Restless I slipped out of Dominic's office and headed to the basement, I glanced around to make sure no one was lurking around, and knowing no one was around I headed towards the basement.
