It’s funny how the smallest things start to feel like evidence when your heart already knows the truth, but your head is still trying to argue.

The way he leaves the room to take calls now, making sure the doors are well closed before he takes any call, and how he usually grabs his phone if a call comes in.

I find those acts super suspicious, and it doesn’t end there. He always comes to bed scenting faintly of something that wasn't his soap or my lotion, and most importantly, the way sex feels… mechanical lately, like he’s going through motions he’s memorized but doesn’t feel anymore.
