QingYu had no choice but to put on her clothes and go out.
LinMuchen was waiting for her in the living room with a cold and ruthless face. When he saw her, he stood up and walked out. With red eyes, QingYu endured the pain between her tears and legs and followed him into the car.
As soon as she opened the door of the passenger seat, she was scolded coldly by LinMuchen.
"Go to the back and sit down! The front is not a place you can touch!"
Only the dead TangXiaoran could sit in the passenger seat. If possible, LinMuchen would like to let this woman sit in the trunk.
She only deserved that kind of place!
Withdrawing her hand, QingYu bit her lips and went to the back seat silently.
As soon as she got in the car and sat down, LinMuchen immediately started the car and drove away with a roar.
Due to the great inertia force, QingYu staggered and almost fell down. She quickly held the back seat to stabilize herself.
In dead silence, the car drove towards the cemetery.
QingYu took a look at her watch. It was just past zero o'clock. In other words, it was the anniversary of TangXiaoran's death.
Every year on the anniversary of her death, LinMuchen would take her to the cemetery and make her kneel in front of TangXiaoran's tombstone to confess, and she must kneel down for a whole night. If she dared to disobey, LinMuchen would torture her fiercely, making her worse than death.
Finally, they arrived at the dark cemetery.
Looking at the dark and gloomy environment, QingYu felt a chill on her back.
She had been afraid of ghosts since she was a child. Even if she came to the cemetery in the daytime, she would sweat all over, let alone it was midnight early in the morning. Just thinking about it, QingYu was so scared that she almost fainted.
"Get off the car!" LinMuchen didn't care about her at all. After parking the car, he immediately ordered QingYu to get off.
With a little hesitation, LinMuchen pulled QingYu out of the car.
"LinMuchen, be gentle. You hurt me!" she felt a sharp pain in her wrist when she was held by his powerful fingers.
"That's good! If it doesn't hurt, how can you know you are wrong?" LinMuchen didn't restrain his strength, but pulled QingYu to TangXiaoran's tombstone more rudely.
"Kneel down! Apologize to XiaoRan!" he shouted coldly and threw away QingYu's hand in disgust.
The cemetery was dark. Only the light of the car in the distance shone on the white tombstone, on which XiaoRan's black and white photos were looking at her gloomily.
Trembling with fear, she had to turn around and run away.
"Ye QingYu, I ask you to kneel down!"
After hesitating for only two seconds, LinMuchen's patience ran out. He pressed hard on her shoulder and forced her to kneel on the cold marble.
"Apologize! Apologize to me!" he continued to scold QingYu coldly and cruelly.
Staring at the photo on the tombstone, QingYu saw a smile on XiaoRan's face, as if she was silently mocking her stupidity and humbleness.
"No!" QingYu shook her head violently. "LinMuchen, I didn't kill her! It's TangXiaoran's own fault. She killed herself!"
The coldness and fierceness in LinMuchen's black eyes were frightening.
"QingYu, don't you cry until you see the coffin?" he stared at her fiercely, as if he was going to pounce on her and tear her into pieces the next second.
With red eyes, QingYu shook her head. Thinking of the humiliation and torture this man had done to her in the cemetery last time, she was trembling with fear.
Biting her lips tightly, QingYu could only endure humiliation and admit her fault with her head down.
"I'm sorry, TangXiaoran." she closed her eyes and murmured to apologize.
However, LinMuchen held the back of her neck and continued to reprimand her coldly.
"Hush up! QingYu!"
In despair, QingYu closed her eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, XiaoRan. I shouldn't have killed you!" she said hoarsely. Her fingers clenched into fists, and her nails pierced into her palms, causing sharp pain.
LinMuchen loosened his grip and said in a cold voice, "tonight, you will kneel here and repent for the whole night!"
After saying that, he turned around and left.
