Vera’s POV:

I woke up in the morning, feeling completely different, renewed even. That feeling carried on through my morning. It wasn’t chaotic or overwhelming, it was more as if the world was finally taking a moment to breathe.

I stood in the middle of my room and stared at my reflection as I began to adjust my house. The woman staring back at me through the mirror still looked like me, but there was something else in her eyes, something that lit up whenever I thought of last night and the man that still made my heart pound.
