For the second time, Landon had cried and worse, he fell on his knees, pleading with me not to leave, and how he didn't know what had happened. He claimed he had no control over it and promised to do better.

He also promised not to stay closer to me and take ten steps away from me.

My mind was conflicted, all I knew was that I wanted to leave here as fast as possible and return to the triplets irrespective of the odds.
