Before I finish my sentence I heard a knock on the door and the door creaks open.

"Hi honey! Are you ready to go already?!" I hear my mom call from the hallway.

"Yes mom!" I reply.

After saying bye to Sergio, I went downstairs and saw her standing by the door waiting for us to leave. I put my hand on top of Sergio's and give him a small smile.

"Bye babe!" Sergio calls out to me.

"Bye," I replied with a sigh.
