6.5FT in heights with broad-shoulders,slender with long legs,masculine and a face of that of a god,hair curly,lip black and light pink nose, pointed,eyes hell black.To myself and everyone am a god that needs to be worshiped regularly.I live with two old hags and an angelic Father that mans the house.We live in the outskirt of the city and it's always a divine place to stay,very quiet and enjoyable.Our house is a storey building built in a magnificent way and looks just like a palace.

My sister is not in the States presently cause she's writing her final papers to graduate from the University of Oxford.Lisa is my goddess and I don't joke with her. Though we are like cats and rats we love each other dearly.

My father does not have a problem but one of those hags which is my mother does and give me headache every blessed day,always nagging about one thing or the other, that I'm not always doing things right.And the other hag,my sweetest nanny,  just can't oppose my mother as she doesn't want to be on her bad side and I  understand also our gate keeper Jason is my nigga.Bro in time of trouble and enjoyment.

Long story short. I'm a troublemaker and the heir to the Hederson. 

I am proud to be in my final year in high school the Prestigious int'l schools.I keep a high profile in school and I'm well known.

Stories  aside. You will learn stories later.

Standing across my mirror, I  can see my dark skin self Hederson Adam. I styled my hair pleasurably to an afro, similar to parking a lady's hair in a bun upward.  I'm in my purple trousers and my white shirt leaving the last button up unbuttoned. My backpack in one arm,after spraying myself with my perfume.I put on my shade then pick my neck tie from the king size bed. I flinged my backpack on my shoulder.I am notorious.

Opening the door,I came face to face with the two hags.

 oh no not this Monday morning again.' Ladies can't you let today go' I persuaded them

' not until I have done what I want' obviously that's to cross check before leaving me to go to school.

This has been written since day one.

My  nanny took the tie and knot it on my neck, tuck in for me, adjusted my shirt, checked if I wore socks bla bla and bla while my mom kept on checking my notespad,backpack and everything

'When will you start dating your note? your literature note is not complete ...........Adam' my mom kept on finding one thing or the other 

 Just then I received a call from Nathaniel ' Hey dude..... really.....on my way already' I hung up Nath had just told me that Mr Kemps most scary teacher has been looking for me and that he is at the gate waiting on my arrival.I had  written an undertaking that I won't be late again and the punishments will be fifteen lashes on the buttocks. It was nothing to me.

'And where do you think you are going to with that cell phone'my mom called 

'jeez, not this time'I dropped my phone on the table in the living room 'bye Mom, bye Aunt Hadiza' pretended to have gone but came back  for my phone and sneaked away.

On getting to the Prestigious int'l school,the first person I saw was Mr Kemps 'Good day sir' I gave him my rarest smile.

'you can't Dodge your lashes with just a smile. Adam when will you change' That's one of Mr Kemps longest statement. Like I have really infuriated him. He dragged me by my trouser, thank my star,no one's on the  school compound.He brought out his long cane with the hand he has been holding at his back all this while. The first lash made me scream my head out,on the 10th I started crying like a baby  when I began to hear giggles. Someone was giggling hard.who dares?!.

After Mr Kemps was  done. He dropped me  on the school ground. It was then I saw the figure giggling away. I wanted to run and beat the person up but I've been beaten up. 

Who in Prestigious int'l school does not know Hederson Adam and dares make fun of me I was going to follow the person up but Nath call came in again 

' what have you done to Mrs Temps that have  put her in so much rage. Just get your sick here before she finds you herself' then he hunged up

 My worst Monday ever

How do I describe myself to you.I am neither short nor tall. I am fair in complexion. Just let me come out plain,  I don't pay attention to my body because I don't have the leisure. Once upon a time I was a naive and sweet girl. From school to guitar lessons then home.   I had the most blessed parent. We weren't  well off but we were happy and contented until  the devil came.

 She started as my home lesson teacher when I was 9 and gradually promoted herself as my daddy's mistress under his matrimonial roof.

 How she got onto my dad's bed I don't know but I'm sure she's behind every of the pain in the family

Darci is a homework. Maybe she bewitched my dad I don't know but my dad made her his second wife while my ever so gentle mother could only cry. The title of 'second wife' didn't go so well with that she started manipulating my dad to send us out of the house which he did. I lost my mom to a fatal accident when I was 10. I was young yes but don't sympathize yet because my life is a misery.

To cut to the chase, I live with my dad and Darci as well as her two kids which she claim is my dad's, Penny and Ken. I couldn't talk to my dad publicly so I basically grew on my own and I'm proud of myself to have grown well.

 The only thing I cherish in the world is the two things my mom has given me,my necklace and guitar. When Darci used to give me trouble my mom will tell me to pour out my feelings with my guitar. I composed songs and sing them to console myself.

The only high that can  give me direct entry to my dream college is Prestigious int'l school but I believe Darci knew this all along even before I knew so she had convinced my dad to enroll me I canvass high school while her two kids attend Prestigious int'l school. When I came to tgey realization I told my dad I will transfer to Prestigious int'l school, he declined. I tried again, same thing, I got fed up on the third trial and flare up.

'Dad, is it Darci that's controlling you? are you now her puppet?  when will you come back to your senses and realize  that I'm your daughter. You gave birth to me and loved me what has changed now? Mommy's death?' that's the first time I raised my voice so loud at my dad and he was shocked. I'm just 18 and he still thinks I'm a baby. My last sentence got him and made him shiver.

'Don't bring Emmy into this' He told me sternly and focused on his papers

' Or what?you will send me out like you sent us out  nine years ago?you would disown me ?or kill me and enjoy your life without Amelia the headache?' I started crying I am my father's daughter and he's not heartless because immediately he saw me crying he came to me and hugged  me with tears stinging his eyes

' baby I won't hurt you you should know how much I love you.The love I have for your mother is not child's playand I don't and can't joke with your stepmother as well'

'okay right away' as promised he went against Darci for the first time since Mom died. My transfer caused a lot in commotion both at home and in Canvass. My principal would not sign my transfer papers claiming he could not let a genuis like Amelia leave his school for one small reason. He could only because I've made up my mind.

 The day before Monday,I packed my school backpack, school shoes, socks, clothes, wristwatch, uniform to my mom's grave many miles away from home. She was buried among the many deads in the state cemetry. Thomas Emmy is written boldly on her tomb.

' Mom, I'm  in my final year already 'I smiled broadly holding the necklace on my neck which I believe to be the channel to talk to my mom' it was a bit hard to convince dad to get me to transfer and even Canvass wouldn't let me go' I laughed ' anyways I'm going to Prestigious int'l school tomorrow. I know Darci will  get more mad but I promise to not budge as you've always thought me'  my eye turned misty when I said 'I love  you Mom'

 I sat there for a very long time till it got dark and it was the watch man who brought me back from my trance

' Miss it's 8:00 p.m. already and it getting very dark'. He knew me to be a regular person in this cemetry.

..... I was just coming from the principal office when I saw this guy beign flogged by a teacher I could not help but giggle.

On getting to the lecture room Mrs Temps was waiting for me at the entrance to room 

'Good morning Ma'am' I smiled my brightest

' your smiles is in vain. Should I reread your undertaking for you.Well since I'm done with my teaching for today, and you might be busy the next period. Meet me after your lunch break in my office she picked up her cane and writing materials leaving the classroom

' phew' it was a relief to be free a little while I went to sit on my seat with the  usual eyes staring .

There is two seats on my row, but I sit and so do my backpack. Behind me is Nathaniel and Gregory  by his side, at my front is Junior and our able class representative. The three guys and I  form the most powerful,influential, good looking and best crew in Prestigious int'l school

 Our fathers are wealthy except Nath whose is just average and that is why he is the most serious among us.

 As soon as Mrs Temps left, our homeroom teacher came in. She's a very young and pretty lady that all our male want to get their ways with her. She doesn't do anything but get paid for keeping us in order and making sure we are of good conducts. I learnt  she's just an homeroom teacher because she wouldn't compromise with the school principal 

Beside her is  a familiar figure probably 6 or 5.9 ft tall,light,boobs firm, ass not bad. She looks clean. Her hair is packed in a bun and she looked mature. 

' Good day class'

' Good day ma'am'  the class of 29 responded

' hope you had a good night rest ' her smiles are always genuine. That's one thing I like about her.

And the class responded well.

' So beside me is your new classmate and I will give her the  opportunity to introduce herself  interact with you for the first time'

 The guy beside Junior raised his hand in question 'ma'am we  are  in our finals and I know how rare it is for students to be admitted this period' he smiled intending to mock her ' Did she release some papers ?' he did his hands in gesticulatuon of money that she bribe the school. 

The whole class laughed. But Miss Tina  disregarded him and nudge the newbie to  introduce herself.

She smiled revealing a perfect set of white teeth

 'good day everyone, I am Thomas Amelia by name and I doubt if this school admit student with sight disabilities as you all can see my physical features' the whole  class burst into laughter ' So to that guy'  she pointed at our class representative 'I would not be Amelia if  Prestigious int'l  school can't admit me' then she face the class again 'I learned this is a class of 29 so it's my pleasure making this  honourable class a complete number of 30' to whole class laughed hard except me. 

 This girl is so good in making people like her but not me Adam. I am going to make her feel remorseful for laughing at me in that manner.

Miss Tina then said ' You can sit in any vacant seat. Feel comfortable. That all for today. Your next class after your break is music,have you all done Mr Byno's  assignment?' the class responded positively ' Then I'll leave you guys. Caleb make sure your class is in order' then she left the girl 

'The girl is sure humourous'  almost everyone was commenting 

Amelia the newbie walked swiftly and majestically to my side and was smiling at me knowingly.

 She took my backpack away and puts it on my desk then sat gracefully.

I think everyone is likeable and I won't have a problem with a soul till I graduate that's excluding that Caleb of a guy. I doubt I know him before, I see no reason why he's so against me on my first day.I scan the room for an empty seat,then I saw the guy from earlier who was being flogged I smiled knowingly as I move to his seat so  I remove the backpack and sat gracefully. He must have been really embarrassed earlier since I saw him being flogged and coincidentally turn classmates.

' I am Amelia' I turn to introduce myself 

'I could hear properly when you said that earlier' He didn't even look at me and I was amused.

 I smiled knowing I can't be easily chickened  with words

 ' Then I wonder what you didn't hear properly that got you flogged so mercilessly that you even wailed' I replied with full smile. I could see his reaction immediately as he faced me with furied face and grabbed at my left arm.

 'Don't you dare open that your smelly mouth to tell a creature a thing  about this morning' tightening his grip ' Do you even  know who I am?!' He raised his voice a bit but didn't attract any attention.

' A scary daddy's baby '  I was still smiling as I dragged my arms from him.

 He seemed  to have lost his cool. 

I was just going to make friends with him and he turned it to enimity. I was awed.

 Just then I heard that Caleb whispering  to the other guy beside him ' see her flirting with Adam. That petty soul! ' He scoffed

 I laughed hysterically, stood up and took a step to his row.

 I like knowing my place with everyone. I just got into a fight with my seat partner and he has turned me to enemy. This Caleb guy is next. I tapped  him so he could turn his face to my direction.

' A pretty soul is here to inquire what I could have done in your past life that just make you act like this on the first day you are seeing me? 

'I just don't like you petty soul. I wonder how you got here in the first instant ' he spitted out.

'hmmm' I nodded in thoughts and walk back to my seat.

 I should prepare for music class, I thought.

 I brought out my music textbook and reading when the bell was jingled for lunch break.

I stood up to tour the school, find  the cafeteria and eat then come back to prepare for music class, but I was stopped by a girl when I wanted to step out.

' I am Finner and I would like to know you better. where are you going to?' 

' ohhh. The cafeteria'

' And do you know where

it is ?'

' No, I plan on touring' 

She laughed ' Well I wonder who uses lunch hour to tour except our humorous Amelia. Let me take you to the cafeteria'

'  okay thanks' 

' This is the library school...... school basketball court....' when we got outside  ' The school field.... The staff's wing'  I had my fastest tour with Finner and went to eat.

Finner is  smart and pretty lady. She is jovial and lovable. We are  about the same age, height and  shape that we'll pass for twin except for the face and hair.

She had white hair and they were very short and we're not even packable. 

While we were talking, I learnt she's the assistant to Caleb but only functions when Caleb is not around but Caleb is everywhere every time. 

Finner is the only child and is overpampered.

' But Ammy, you should be careful around Adam. He doesn't joke with anybody except his gang and I will not want you to get on his bad side. His Dad cherishes  him even when he is wrong, he doesn't get corrected. The only person that can tame him is Mr Kemp's. Alot of students has been rusticated because of Adam'

' So what I'm already on his bad side and what's so mighty about him?!'

 ' What have you done?!! It is better you apologize and leave him he's

' I can't '

' Better still. Ignore him, don't know him at all.'

' We'll see about that'

Finner and I grew this mutual understanding which each other.

That girl sure know how to piss me off. Though I haven't come up with a way to make her life miserable. I wont take it lightly with her.

When it was lunch break, I told my guys I would go see Mrs Temps and that they should wait for me at the cafeteria.

 Upon getting to Mrs Temps  office.

She started her preaching, asked me to kneel and all.

 ' I won't take it lightly with you the next time you miss my class '

I thanked her, stood up and left for the cafeteria. On my way to the seat my guys had occupied, I saw the witch laughing about something with another girl from our class .

' The witch sure knows how to bewitch people into being her friends'  I hissed and walked to our table 

' How was your meeting with the lioness? ' Greg asked me

He gave Mrs Temps the lioness and Mr Kemps the lion, since their names are similar .

' Just her usual preaching '

 Today's lunch is egg buns and coke.

 We gisted awhile before leaving for music class as soon as the lunch break was over.

 As soon as we settled down, Mr Byron came in with his music pad and usual friendly smile. Mr Bryno is the most easy teacher after Miss Tina of course.

He has a little child that he brings over occasionally as he is a single father.

' Class great ' Caleb stood up and all rised.

' Good day sir'  the class all chorused.

'  Good day'  He greeted back scanning the class. ' I learnt there's a newbie in your class, can you stand for recognition?'

Amelia stood up, bowed at him ' Good day sir '

 ' You can sit. So let's review our past lessons. ' He kept on teaching, revising and the class was a bit lively.

' I want you guys to work on a duet for our principal upcoming birthday which is on the 10th of next month. He told me he will be throwing a party at his house and he's inviting some students. Well I want you guys to take the rest of the day for break. I will give you information about the birthday next class. Bye' 

Immediately he left the class. The class got excited and erupted into noise.

The witch beside me brought out her phone and was giggling all the way through pressing her phone.

She was pissing me off and I know it intentional, she wants me to take notice of her since the first fucking time she set her eyes on me after knowing my status and worth in school. But I'll show this little vixen she's isn't worth my attention.

I brought out my phone to see Caleb's message ' guy, don't be fooled by that petty soul, I tell you. Add me to the guy's group chat. I want to reveal her secret without forwarding messages.' 

This boy sure is shameless, he has been bent on doing things with the group, he wants to join the gang right from time and he did not mind that everyone notices his intention. He has been asking me to add him to the group chat, buying things for the group. Everyone all know that Caleb's Dad is Rich and knows how to flaunt his wealth. He is on of the shareholders of Prestigious int'l school.

If not for the so called secret he wants to reveal, I won't even consider him. Immediately I added him to the group chat, both Junior and Gregory texted me with the same thing. ' Why did you ?!' 

 I guessed Nath had seen through when he said ' Are you sure about this?, I don't even know why you'll hate a new comer this way' 

He knew I won't reply so he left my direct message and they were all waiting for me in the group.

I texted the group tagging Caleb. ' Nigga, get straight to the point'

' I want to give an analysis. Thanks for accepting me' he replied without hesitation. Both Greg and Junior scoffed at the same time. That even the vixen noticed and look at her front then at her back and back to her phone. She sure know how to pretend to kind her business. I'm sure after the scoff, her ears are everywhere for gossip.

' what analysis ' I replied him.

' you all know my dad's a share holder and automatically very close to the principal. He brought up a gist before going to his bed last night. He said the school will be accepting a famous reporter's daughter. ' 

' How are you so sure she's the one? ' Nath has always been a calm person and honest.

' I'm sure. You all should know this famous article writer, Mr Thomas. That's always fishing out dirty secrets of big entrepreneurs. That's his daughter. Now to my analysis, we all know him to be a rich man also, why isn't his daughter in this school all this while and had to come last minute?'

' hmmm' Nath wanted to let him spill the beans out by showing him that he's interested and following his story or analysis

' She's very dull and is not intelligent, her father did not like her. I'm also sure she's adopted because the woman she lives with treats her like trash. After realizing that only Prestigious can make her fulfil dreams, she persuaded her foster dad to work it out. He had to beg the principal to admit her quietly and not bring suspicions about admitting students in final year.' he added an emoji looking like he has conquered the word 

 ' Help me send her back to where she belongs'  I texted this while looking at her sitting beside me smiling hard at her phone.

' How's he going to do that ?' Junior is not well pleased with his seat partner. He's like an open book and doesn't hide what he feels.

 ' I give you till the principal's birthday party.' I decided to play with him ' if you are able to send her away, I will add you permanently to our group and as a member' 

Then I removed him from the chat.

' why would you do that?!'

Well I cat wait to see her off this school. She acts like she's the boss. She does not know anything

Caleb look excited all of a sudden. This School is just full of different characters. I continued chatting with Rhina from Canvas high school. She's my bestie and we love each other.

We are gist buddies and she was just gisting me about her boyfriend and ex-boyfriend. I couldn't help but laugh.

She went on a date with her boyfriend and her ex turned to be the bar attendant. He does that to assist himself in school. Since his both parent abandon him. He then refused to tend to Rhina and her boyfriend. His manager embarrassed him in front of everyone in the bar that day. She broken up with him because of his numerous girlfriends. He doesn't have time Because of his uncountable per time job and he still cheats.

We planned on meeting after closing hour and I can't wait to meet her.

Rhina is a fine girl with bad ass body. Every guy wants to get their way with her, but the reason I like her is that, she's not mindful of her body. She's intelligent and smart. We grew up together. She is the only daughter with two elder brother. 

One is a police officer and while the other is about to be done with university. She is free because her parent don't restrict her from things but she's sharp and wise.

Sometimes I go to her place for weeks to stay away from Darci and her manipulative kids. I did not even come across them today.

I doubt they came to school after saying their morning farewell.

The bell was jingled for closing. I packed my things with no rush.

I picked my phone to call Rhina but someone nudge me on the shoulder from no where. I was able to held onto my phone tight so it won't fall. I looked up to see Adam standing.

' Don't start what you can't finish ' I told him and continue packing

He laughed and walked away. ' Hey babe, I will be waiting for you at the mini bar at the end of the road.' he told her over the phone as I got out of the class.

Adam was at the corridor, I saw his leg out before I could trip. I just laughed ' I don't expect you to be this petty. ' I chuckled and left.

      I was so eager to see my baby of life, seriously I missed her already.

On getting to the bar, as usual it was quiet. It just like an environment for students to cool their heads after school activities. 

Rhina has ordered two bottles of coke and I was just to excited to see her that I almost knocked the table with coke off while hugging her.

' Hey bunny, clam down ' she laughed and we both settled down to gist

She went over her boyfriend's story again and we laughed our souls out.

' so how's prestigious school' it was also her dream school but her parent had already provided work for her.

' The school is full of weirdos seriously' I ran through the story of the day and told her everything

' wow , ahh I wish I was there. Who dares talk to you anyhow. ' 

I laughed as we kept on chatting and chatting till I checked the time and it 5:00pm 

' baby, I have to go ' I told her as I gulped down my last drink, stood up, straighten out my uniform.

We'll chat at night. 

I went straight to my work place. After 2hours of attending to customers buying daily necessities.

I removed my work clothes, then put on my casual dress of simple gown.

I went straight home, my workplace covers my everyday dinner and I see some daily gains even before my pay day. Sometimes customers will forget their change, sometimes they'll dash you money and sometimes my employer will be impressed by the sales and give out money to his workers. Never seen him tho.

I already bought sausage and milk before leaving work so on getting home, as usual, dad's not home. I went straight to my room.

Just then Penny opened the room to my door.

' Don't you know to knock?!' I was just about to sleep when this possessed human barged into my room. 

' Why you so dumb. Why will I have the spare key to your room if not to interrupt and enter as I please.' I was not ready for that mouth of hers that does not have filter.

' what do you want?' 

' Because I'm in the commercial class doesn't mean I cant hear every gist of what's happening in the art class.' she sat on my bed and faced me with no Shame.

' Everything you're doing with My Adam, I Know. so I'm telling you that you watch yourself before evil before you' 

' is that what you want to tell me'

' and don't act almighty this time around cause I will bring you down myself ' 

' Good night Penny ' and I pretended to have slept

The way she slammed the door explains how pained she is that I did not reply to her stunts.

After she left, I took out my diary and wrote about my day. When it got to Adam, I wanted to feel hatred and I did not feel it.

     *HE IS A VERY CUTE GUY... AND EVEN SUPER CUTE WHEN HE IS MAD OR CRYING.* I laughed as I continue writing *I THINK I'M ATTRACTED TO HIM. WHY DID I EVEN GET INTO A FIGHT WITH HIM. I WISH HE CAN BE MY BOYFRIEND, I WILL BECOME SO PRIDEFUL* I laughed again realising what I had written down, gave myself a mental slap and drew lines on it, though it was still visible because I hate canceling my diary.

I have to stop fantasizing, this person hates me for no reason. You shouldn't start liking him.

 Wednesday. November 19

   Mr Bryno's appearance silenced everyone's thoughts and action. ' Good morning class '

 ' Good morr.…' he interrupted the class in a rush.

' I'm sorry guys, but my daughter is in the health centre and the principal is asking me for feedback for the musical performance for his birthday. So I've decided to use a duet and I'm giving you guys a week. I don't have the leisure to put you guys in pairs but since you sit in pairs, your seat partner is your duet partner. Do well to find a good song, you can compose, use musical instruments, be creative. The best will perform for the school principal. Sorry guys but I have to go'

And he left he left just as he entered.

Adam and Amelia looked at themselves and it obvious they are not happy with the arrangements. They stood up at the same time. Adam went to Nath, Greg, and Junior but they already had partners and don't want to switch.

Amelia ran to Finner ' Babe do you have a partner already?'  ' yes' 

' please let's switch hun. Do this for me for once please' 

' Ammy I can't , Mr Bryno knows everyone's seat partners even in distress so don't fuss about it. I told you. You could have switched seats earlier' 

 Amelia inner voice begin to speak. ' why am I even scared. We are classmate after all. And it normal for us to be paired' 

She went to her seat and smiled broadly at the frowning Adam who made an ugly face to discourage her into saying anything to him .

 ' Adam dear. You know, we are not actually enemies, we can be best buddy. Do you know my biggest wish. It to have my own stage and sing to the hearing of others. Please I just want us to cooperate. After this phase of duet I promise I will find a way to change my seat and not talk to you again.' She made her cutest face.

She actually did not intend on playing cute with him but how else will she win the duet competition and sing for the principal on his birthday.

Adam's mind was everywhere, why was this girl playing cute with him, is she trying to seduce him or what. And is he really falling for her. No!

All of his friends knew he hate so that means he must hate her so much.

' Shut the fuck up and get out of my sight ' He shouted at her and stood up grabbing everyone's attention.

Every one knew that Adam rarely fought or raised his voice, he is one cool guy.

Immediately Amelia shot up, ' No! You get out of my sight' her face turned red with anger ' we both pay our fees and in the same fucking class. You can't tell me what to do. What gave you the audacity. I've been avoiding you real good and now there's an assignment, you want to bring me down. Good thing you are raising your voice. Tell the whole class why you and your gang hate me so much. I'm so eager to know!' Her voice was very loud.

Everyone was awed, nobody has ever seen someone raised their voice at Adam, even the lion and lioness only nag, they've never shout at him. 

Adam himself was shocked that he could not say anything. He felt humiliated.

' Cat got your tongue. I give you till tomorrow to tell me if you'll cooperate with. I hate you as much as you hate me Bull' and she left with Finner at a tail.

 Everyone was gasping .... Some people even did videos and posted to the final year students general group chat.

Everywhere got wild as Adam left with his gang too.

 ' Ammy, you are in trouble. Big one.'

' There's no trouble because I only told him what I can't take. He has been bullying everyone, why will I allow him to bully me"

' But you went too far Ammy.'

Then she drew her lines on it and was about to sleep when Penny and her thirteen  year old brother Ken who is still in junior school.

' Bitch! ' She pulled Amelia sheet from her body and poured the cup of tea in her hands on her.

' Forget that I'm thinking. What were you thinking when you raised your voice on my Adam this afternoon at school?!' 

' That serves you right' Ken made sure no one was listening to their conversation as he bolt the door

' Penny get out of my room' Amelia was losing her calmness as the tea still burns her skin. She has always tried her best not to offend the mother and kids of her father's house.

' What will you do ' she moved closer to Amelia who was now sitting. ' Tell me what you'll do , you this smutty, stinking creature born of a dead wizard' immediately, even before she finished her words, Amelia gave Penny a resounding slap that left both her and her brother in shock.

' You slapped me Amelia?' Tears were stinging her face but she refused to shed them.

Penny burst out of the room in tears with Ken following her closely.

The next day around the class corridor was Adam watching as people entered the class.

When he saw Caleb, he grabbed him by the shirt. ' What exactly is keeping you from doing the assignment?!' He was close to shouting at him and grabbing attention due to his frustration, but he was able to keep calm.

' After the Principal's party. I'm actually planning something huge and I don't want the principal's party to be postponed because of what I'm planning. So it will soon be over. Just be patient a little while.'

Caleb tried convincing him.

' I thought you said you can't wait to see her go as much as I do. Or where you pretending to win me over?'

' No,not at all bro. Just wait awhile. You can even make her believe you and like you so once the game is up, she won't trace anything back to us.'

' And what do you mean by that?'

' Just do as I say for a little while. At least till the principal's party.'

' I can't do as you say but I will endure till the principal's party.' Adam promised to endure till the principal's birthday party.

On getting to class, Amelia was already sitting and waiting for him to get his reply.

As soon as he sat, she faced him ' What's your response about yesterday?'

' And about your yesterday's ranting and barking. I can't and will never do a duet with a female dog'. He brought out his earphone and put it on.

Amelia had promised not to fight with him . She will meet Mr Bryno and let him know about Adam's ordeal.

Since Mr Bryno is now her new boss, he should be on her side right?.

After lessons hour , Amelia went to meet Mr Bryno at the mini bar and to her surprise, he was already there and drinking a bottle of beer.

She took a seat and went to sit with him, called the bar attendant and told her she'll need a Coke.

' Newbie, what are you doing here's Mr Bryno couldn't help but ask after Amelia announced her presence with her greeting.

Mr Bryno has been deep in thoughts, that he did not notice Amelia bring a seat towards him.

' We have an appointment' Amelia smiled making him more perplexed.

' Wow , why do you want to do it and how come you know I need a babysitter?.'.....

' Well sir, I'm into different per time jobs to fend for myself, so I dropped few because of our upcoming exams, so I need the money for myself since I know the job is also of advantage to me. Any logical person will know you need a baby sitter. The stress of taking care of a daughter and work's stress is bringing to the edge of frustration. So I can help me with that.'

' My dad knows I work per time but we don't talk about it'

Amelia came out from the bar and heave a sigh of relief, she'll tell Mr Bryno about Adam tomorrow because she did not want him to suspect that it's because of that she wants to take the job.

After the meeting, Amelia went to Rhina's house. They had planned to talk to her mom together.When she got there, they were in the kitchen cooking and washing.

She joined them immediately and it looked like she's Rhina sister.

Then she brought the topic up for them to discuss. ' Do you think it a good idea that you bring some man's daughter home from nowhere?'

' Mom, the man lives alone and it only normal for us to show kindness in this kind of way.'

Both Rhina and Amelia jammed hands in the air in excitement.

After eating and resting for a while. ' Mom, I have to go. I'm already for work' Amelia has already gotten use to calling Rhina's mom by mom.

She had gotten rice in a package for dinner, as she sat to eat, she had her dad calling. So she dropped her food aside and went out to their sitting room.

Darci was there and her two hooligans. Mr Thomas rarely come home and when he does. It always cases upon cases he will be settling.

He took in a deep breath upon seeing Amelia, Everything about her reminds him of Emmy and the good times they've shared together.

Emmy is pregnant and cleaning and singing at the same time. It was then Thomas came from within. ' Emmy, you sing like an angel and is stubborn like another thing' he went to her side, removed the cleaning handkerchief in her hands and started cleaning the table from where she stopped. ' I said I will do all the chores, you should just rest and let our baby rest well. Moreover this things you cleaning over and over again are not even dirty but you just want to stress my babby'

Emmy chuckled like a child and made a sad face. The switch was quick ' So I'm not your baby again?'

However, Darci is trying every means to break this father and child into pieces. Tho there's nothing he does not seek approval for from Darci. He has never asked her or seek anything from her about his daughter because he knows how much Darci hate his daughter and vice versa. Darci made sure it got to the point the father and daughter can't talk to each other except she's not there or she must not know.

Before it got so serious, Thomas opened an account for his daughter and send money from his secret business account to it every month. Money that's worth millions of naira per month but Amelia told him that she'd not touch any of that money if he won't send Darci away.

He could see through Darci and her intentions so why can't he send her away. That's between the two party and she's bent on revealing what the both party are hiding.

' Ammy, Your mom here said you're having boyfriends when you are just starting your new school' It evident on his face that he's fed up of everyday report and talk on Ammy's case only.

' Dad, for the last time, don't call this woman my Mom. Thanks to her, my mom is late' and that's many years ago. So me having a boyfriend is no one's business, I promise you dad,You'll know when I have a boyfriend' And she left to her room.

' Did you see that Thomas, that girl has lost respect for both of us. I still insist on you sending her away.'

In Amelia room, she cried and cried until her head start throbbing.

She took her phone and texted Mr Bryno for his Address and slept off.

The next day, 6:30 am

Amelia had arrange herself, packed her packs and called Rhina's mom that she'll soon get to their house..

And it did not take 30 minutes before she got there because she took the first bus. On getting there, it was Rhina second brother, Timothy that opened the door.

' Bro Tim,you back from school?'

' Yeah, we were given 2 weeks break so I said I should come home and enjoy everyone's presence. I've missed you. I learnt you don't visit frequently again. Why is that?'

Amelia went to arrange the guest house for Mr Bryno's girl play house.

After she was done. Rhina hasn't woken up yet and so also her mom.

She didn't want to disturb them, so she decided to leave totally forgetting that she's supposed to see Timothy before leaving.

Timothy is a fair and huge guy, with cute facial look. He's hairy and with very pink lips. His eyes are captivating and he has the look of a playboy. He's the first guy Amelia has ever find attracting. He use to be her crush before he left for the university.

As she opened the door, someone called her.

' Ammy, you leaving? But I told you I want to see you' He said in a teary voice. ' I'm sorry bro Tim. I didn't want to leave like that but I thought you went back to sleep. '

After that she went to school.

After numerous class, Finner accompanied her to the music studio behind their department to rehearse the birthday song she composed for their principal. (864).

Suddenly my daily routine changed to leaving my house to Mr Bryno's and to school and to rehearsal and to pick Tema and stay in Rhina's house till evening then take Tema home and then to my own house. My life Is now getting spiced up,and exciting every minute.

I decided to leave the bull and plan an unusual thing for the principal's birthday party.

Time flew and it the principal's birthday party today. My main reason for attending the party today is because I go to everywhere my guys are and I want to see that arrogant chick for the last time.

Everyone is coming in. Me and my guys were cracking jokes,making jest of people and all. And of course your Caleb guy too is here. The evening is so cool. From the music to the decorations to the funny master of ceremony to the available drinks, everything was lit.

Anyways to the final year students presentation, I present to you Toodles and Bear, it actually their nickname for tonight presentation and after them is a special presentation with our Principal on seat from a secret angel'

Toodles and Bear came on stage and they are just two random peeps in my class. Their song was beautiful obviously, everyone appreciated it.

After the Toodles and Bear, our secret angel' came on stage with costumes. White gown and heel,she looked so much like one celebrity and even with covering of her face, I know she's beautiful and I feel so attracted to her.

Who is this angel that I have not seen before. The spotlight was on her as she sing while everyone was in the dark she was the only one glowing singing with her angelic voice. My heart fast and hurting because everyone was staring at her the same way.

Even her lyrics were captivating,she was wishing the principal a happy birthday and everyone was feeling emotional.

As she came so also she left the stage,it looked like a dream.

I know junior would be the first to talk because he is the most lustful ' Wow, do anyone know who that angel was?'

Daniella rushed to me in a way that stopped me on my track tho I wasn't moving yet. Daniella is actually a beautiful girl,we grew up together and liked each other. As we grew,she started playing dirty tricks and so the likeness reduce. Her father and mine are business partners and very good friends right from time.It was her father that helped my father when he needed help to establish his business so since then my dad has been indebted to him and that's why even when I don't like Daniella again. I still respect her because of her dad.

I already changed to one jean trouser I collected from Rhina for the party and that's because I don't want attention or become the class topic for the week else I would have wear the same white gown.

And I was greeted by a kiss from my seat partner. I did not know what to do because I was now what I don't want to be which is the centre of attraction.

I ran back outside with Finner of my tail..

Finner kept on calling me but I did not want to stop but I had to because of the tear streaming my eyes..... I saw a bench around the garden in the compound of the big house. I went to sit there.

I did not even know what to say but I looked at her and poured out what my feeling's like to her.

I woke up by the sound of a blasting horn,' Who the hell is that this early morning,it not even morning yet' I murmured and try going to sleep again and then this f*cking horn came again. I yelled and all the sleep in me disappeared.

' Is there no gate keeper in this God forsaken ave! I couldn't lament to anyone but I had to stand up to stop this madness if all the people in this house has disappeared. I opened my door and looking to left, no one, to the right, no one.

Seriously?! My room was next to our guest room and by the left is the kitchen because I was the first to pick room when we first got the apartment and I picked the room close to the kitchen because I felt I will always be the first perceive aromas and first to eat. Actually I'm now grown tho. It actually became an habit and the kitchen is always the first place I go to after leaving my room except I'm in a rush.

Nobody was in the kitchen I took the stairs and the first step j would take was interrupted again by this horn,I almost fell.i grew impatient and raced down the stairs, no one is in the sitting room too. ' Mom...Mommy!!!...mooooom!' I grew so scared,' Aunt hadiza!? ....Jason!!!'

I ran outside and the car was there, white sport car, one of my favorites, I tried looking at the driver but the glass was tinted thick black. Then the horn!

I had to put my hand over my ear to avoid my ear from blowing. As my heart was racing, I moved to the driver's side to knock but the horn came blasting again

I don't know if to cry or run.... I don't know what to do so I started running. When I got to a very far distance from our house, I was looking from afar for the next thing to happen and suddenly I saw an air drone lifting a tiny toy. It got below me and I got freaked.

Finner and Rhina are at the store where I work convincing me to attend the camping program the school organizes annually for final year students.

The party was very low key, my dad invited couples of his friends,while one was Ella's dad, I think the other one was his PA. There was this man that was around too,I don't know if he's close to my dad but I've not seen him before, he looks different but he was treated well, the same way Ella's dad was been treated.

Ella's dad has been my dad's business partner right from time and now Ella's dad is thinking of merging the two companies together through marriage because he believe that his daughter is in love with me and my dad is not protesting, he's actually playing along. I don't know why but I'm not happy with it and it only Lisa that knows about it, I can't wait for us to be alone so I will pour my heavy heart to her alone.

One by one everyone dispersed and it remains the family, Jason went to his duty post while aunt Hadiza went to her room too.

' How has been life over there' My dad wanted my sister to talk about her experiences and everything and she did .

When my mom was feeling sleepy, she and my dad had to leave for their room and now it me and Lisa alone!

' Hey babe it been ages' now I started feeling teary and went to hug her

I started telling her everything about how school has been, how I've become the hottest boy in school, how alot of people have been tripping on me, sending me love letters.

After all the gist I couldn't help but mention the one girl that's giving me issue. I bad mouthed her and painted her real bad in front of Lisa. Though I know that Lisa sees through me I couldn't help it.

She kept on nodding and I was acting up. Acting like I've been hurt and everything.

' Don't worry baby. I'm around now ' She reassured me and we went to our various rooms when it was already late into the night.

MONDAY.

I was too tired from yesterday to go to school, but this part of me- my heart - kept telling me to go and I can't abandon it.

So I dressed up and prepared. Lisa was still asleep and I did not want to wake her up.

As I got on my way to school I received a text from Caleb saying- 'Good morning buddy( I don't know who is his buddy) Amelia won't have any option but to withdraw from school.LOL'

Something in my heart said I should be expecting a huge deal as I'm getting to School.

On my way , I saw her - talk of the devil- but something was weird, there's this guy stalking her, she keeps looking back and pleading with him to go back, I decided to stay hidden and see what's going on. She stopped and was talking to him but I don't know what they are talking about, suddenly he started harassing her and she was pleading him to leave her but he was more manly.I don't know why but I couldn't take it so from where I was I saw a huge stone, I picked it and aimed at the guy's arm, I threw it at him and it hit him.Maybe he was scared, he ran away immediately. Amelia bent down and was crying audibly. Well well something in me kept urging me to go to her and calm her down but no I won't, I must remain wicked.

I left her and went ahead to school.

On getting to school, I saw all the student,even with some teachers around the school notice board. all around the was written on the wall boldly 'AMELIA MUST GO. SHE MUST GO'

For one reason not known to me, my knee felt weak..

When I got to the notice board, I saw bold pictures of the man from yesterday with the Principal,in his work place and at our place, with my dad chatting.

And under the pictures was written boldly again

'MR THOMAS, THE GREAT ARTICLE WRITER HAD USED CONNECTION WITH BRINGING HIS BASTARD DAUGHTER TO PRESTIGIOUS.'

Amelia was still outside the school crying about that guy that abused her, so she will still come in to see all these?

I didn't know what to say or do but that same feeling was making me feel like I've done the most terrible thing on earth.
