Madeline's kidnap had me exhausted. I couldn't get any ounce of sleep the previous night. I asked Madeline about what happened the previous night and why she was kidnapped, and she refused to spill.

This was the first time Madeline was hiding an ordeal from me, a very serious one and it kinda hurt.

I overheard how alpha Konan talked down at Madeline this morning. I couldn't get the whole details of what happened during the kidnap, but I pitied her—i really did.
