Chapter 3

Ten minutes later I pulled up to my Pater’s farm. It was full dark by then so I couldn’t see much. He must have been waiting for me though, as he came down the porch steps when I roared in. He pointed out a nearby barn where I should park my bike. I pulled in and dismounted. After removing my helmet, I gathered my gear and took a deep breath.
