Eve sat in the passenger seat of Ethan's car, hoping more than anything to disappear. 

"You still won't say anything, huh?" Ethan gripped the steering wheel, his knuckles bright. "Evelyn, if you dare cause any trouble this time–"

"I– I didn't cause any trouble, I swear. It's just a matter related to the taxi incident."
