The doctor took his gaze to the floor and nodded making me sprang up to my feet.

"What nonsense are you talking about? That the lady I brought here myself has disappeared?" I asked turning to the nurse and trying to understand what she meant.

"I'm afraid yes. I went to check on how she's doing and administer drugs to her but found the bed empty. I also went into the bathroom thinking she went to ease herself but it was also empty.

I searched around the whole ward but couldn't find her" the nurse said and I chuckled, the whole thing sounding off to me.
