POV: Heather

I’ve not felt this scared in a very long time. I know he said I should stay in the bedroom and shut the doors, but I just couldn’t stay locked up in the room when everyone else was fighting to save our lives. If this is another rogue attack, then I want to be here, I want to fight them this time. The last time they showed their ugly faces, they had succeeded in killing my family, while I ran off like a scared little child, running to safety. Now Xander wants me to hide in the room like a fucking weakling.
