He read my thoughts and discovered that I’d known about his ex-wife and Vinnie, and yet I didn’t say anything about it. That made him so pissed and he walked away from me, calling me a freaking liar. I felt a sharp pain in my heart as he swore never to forgive me for lying to him. It felt as if my whole world was crumbling before my very eyes. I’ve felt his anger before, but it was never this much, and he never looked this disappointed before.
