LAURA'S POINT OF VIEW

My heart skipped a beat as his words echoed in my ears. Shocked was an understatement as to how I felt at that moment.

I already knew that was going to happen but the reality and soonest of it left me speechless. “Tomorrow? Why are you in such a haste?”

He chuckled. “Haste? I am a busy person and I do not have time to waste or spare. I'll get your clothes and other things you'll be needing before the end of the day.”

His words rang a bell in my ears. I was speechless and nothing made any sense to me. Not in the least....
