Darwin’s POV

I went about getting Veronica, and Alyssa something to eat with a lightness of heart I had not felt in days.

Veronica was returning to us, albeit slowly, but she was returning anyways and with more work, I was sure she’d be back to herself in no time.

I talked to the hospital staff about what the best thing to get Veronica and they recommended broth since it wouldn’t be wise to feed her anything that wasn’t light.

So I made preparations and got broth ready for Veronica, and a coffee with a Sandwich for Alyssa.
