Finding Veronica’s car did nothing at all to help us, except tell us the location where her car had been ditched and the likelihood that she was moved to a location we knew absolutely nothing about.

“Hey Darwin, has Jed found anything new?” Alyssa asked. We were all still together, and I didn’t think anyone of them would leave tonight.

Alyssa became even more eager after we found Veronica’s car. She believed that there was some connection between where Veronica’s car was found and wherever she was taken to.
