I gave Nicholas a warm hug as my giant wings wrapped around him once more, bringing us even more closer together.

"Gonna miss seeing your face Nicholas," I said as I pouted.

"Same here Ava, except it will be me missing you though," He blushed as he quickly looked down, avoiding my gaze.

I giggled.

"You're so adorable, when the Moon Goddess cursed me with a mate why couldn't it have been you instead of him?" I asked sadly.

He cupped my cheek with his hand and smiled at me with a comforting warmth to his smile.
