Pang of emotions kicked in me. What did I do to make this happen to me? Did I deserve this pain?

I wiped the tears from my eyes. My eyes roamed around inside the not so expensive room. Clean and airy. There is a Tv in front of the bed. There is a small bathroom. There is a table on the side. There's a refrigerator I don't know works. There is air conditioning, a rice cooker with a heater and a microwave.

I approached the large window just to the side of my bed. I can see the expanse of Iloilo. yeah, I'm in Jaro Iloilo.
