“King Wind!” One mermaid swam toward the corner of the lake. She was waving her hands to him.

“You see? That’s why I like mermaids. I wasn’t joking.” King Wind whispered beside me before he walked closer to the mermaid. “Urmi! Do you miss me?” HIs broad smile was not pretending. It was showing thrilled and merriment.

“All the time! I was waiting for you to come back. Did you bring me food from the kingdom?”

King Wind backed away a bit as the disappointment was written into his expression. “I forgot. I just brought a friend for you to play with.” King Wind gazed back at me....
